Jenny from ActionAid came in to tell us about the work they do in India.
Some children dressed up in Indian clothes
Jenny showed us some things that Indian children would do.
Girls often carry water in a pot on their heads. The pot had lots of dents because it had been dropped so many times.
Indian children take their lunch to school in a tiffin tin. The bottom layer would contain rice, the next layer would contain vegetable curry, and the top layer would contain fruit.
In the afternoon at school children do crafts. They make things from beads, which are then sold. Some of the money goes to the school, and some is saved for the child to help them to start their adult lives.
The work done by ActionAid means that more children can go to school, and have a better chance of a good future.
